The formulations of tuba clean cleaning products are specially adapted to the cleaning system, the spray extraction. The tuba clean Main Detergent and the tuba clean Upholstery Cleaner specifically help to prevent rapid re-soiling. With the tuba clean Intensive Impregnator, you can protect your carpets, rugs, upholstery, car seats, mattresses, and textiles in general even more intensively and delay resoiling for longer. This makes sense especially on heavily used surfaces. The tuba clean Intensive Impregnating Agent is a dirt-repellent special impregnator. It seals fibres and fabrics, increases fibre stability, and thus provides a reliable protection against everyday soiling. Dirt does not penetrate but remains on the fibre surface and can be easily vacuumed off. The formation of walkways and other large-area soiling caused by use is prevented for long, colours are actively protected against greying. Tip: Make sure that you always apply the tuba clean Intensive Impregnating Agent evenly.

When used and filled properly, liquid will only leak from the spray nozzle of the upholstery or floor nozzle. When filling the device, you must be careful not to overfill the appliance. It is essential to observe the maximum filling mark inside the unit and not to pour the cleaning liquid into the suction port in the centre of the unit. The tuba clean Main Detergent is a highly concentrated special cleaning product. With the 500 ml bottle you can clean up to 60 sqm, with the 250 ml bottle up to 30 sqm. The exact coverage varies with the thickness of the carpet pile and intensity of cleaning. In any case, make sure not to over-wet the carpet. This does not only reduce coverage but may also cause damages.
Please return the device emptied and cleaned. Detach the hoses (suction and spray hose) from the unit and from the carpet nozzle or upholstery nozzle.

Give some undiluted cleaning agent (tuba clean Main Detergent or Upholstery Cleaner) onto a white cloth. Dab the cloth moistened with the cleaning agent onto the carpet or upholstery cover on an invisible area. If paint dissolves, the carpet or upholstery cover is not or only partially colourfast and it should not be cleaned with the tuba clean system.
Yes, of course. For heavily soiled surfaces (walkways, seat soiling), please use the tuba clean Pre-Cleaner for pre-treatment prior to the appliance-supported basic cleaning. The tuba clean Pre-Cleaner dissolves surface soiling. During the subsequent basic cleaning with the tuba clean Spray Extraction Cleaner and the tuba clean Main Detergent or Upholstery Cleaner, the dissolved dirt is then completely removed. Simply spray the tuba clean Pre-Cleaner onto the carpet or upholstery from a distance of approx. 40-50 cm and leave it for approx. 5-10 minutes, then thoroughly clean it. Tip: Always work section by section.
To remove stubborn stains, use the tuba clean Pre-Spotter prior to basic cleaning. Tip: Use the Pre-Spotter (contains bleach) only for stain removal, not for pre-cleaning larger areas.
Not at all! During spray-extraction carried out with the tuba clean Spray Extraction Cleaner, you work in one operation, i.e. you spray on the cleaning agent and vacuum it up again in the same operation together with the dissolved dirt. The tuba clean Main Detergent and the tuba clean Upholstery Cleaner are special cleaning agents designed especially for this cleaning system. Please use the tuba clean Pre-Cleaner for treating large areas of soiling or the tuba clean Pre-Spotter to remove stains. Do not spray the carpet without vacuuming it at the same time, as there is a risk of over-wetting with no additional benefit.
If you have not yet achieved a satisfying result during the first cleaning run, you can repeat the cleaning process. It is important that you do not over-wet the carpet or upholstery. After having finished the spray-extraction, vacuum the carpet or upholstery once again with the tuba clean Spray Extraction Cleaner without using the spray lever. If necessary, allow the carpet or upholstery to dry in between. For high-pile carpets, you should not carry out more than two cleaning cycles.
How often you should clean your rug or upholstery depends on how much it has been used and how dirty it is. Basically, you should thoroughly clean your carpets or upholstery at least once or twice a year, as dust and dirt will settle in the carpet or upholstery over the months, regardless of how much you use it, even in the most meticulous households. In large cities and areas with high levels of particulate matter, the cleaning intervals are more frequent. Also, in households with allergy sufferers, a basic cleaning of the carpet or upholstery with the tuba clean system should be carried out more often.
Once the basic cleaning with the tuba clean system has been completed, make sure to properly ventilate the cleaned rooms. Open the window on tilt or turn the car windows down a gap. This allows air to circulate better and accelerates the drying. For longer protection against re-soiling of heavily used surfaces / seating surfaces, please use the tuba clean Intensive Impregnating Agent. Simply spray onto the still damp carpet or upholstery after basic cleaning and you are done. If possible, only walk on the carpet again when it is completely dry. Also, you should not reuse your upholstery until it is completely dry.

The tuba clean Main Detergent or Upholstery Cleaner is basically suitable for all spray extraction devices and carpet cleaners or upholstery cleaners using the spray extraction method. When using the tuba clean Main Detergent or Upholstery Cleaner, you will achieve significantly better cleaning results compared to cleaning agents of other brands. Please observe the instructions for use, especially for rental equipment, and the tank volume in general for the correct dosage of the cleaner.
The pressure cap that attaches the spray hose to the unit and the carpet or upholstery nozzle can be easily opened. Simply push the black plastic ring in the direction of the hose and the metal connection snaps out. On the device, simply push the black plastic ring in the direction of the device. Never clean two carpets lying on top of each other! There is a risk of discolouration and the carpets cannot dry properly. If you still have a rug or decorative carpet (e.g. oriental carpet, designer carpet) on a firmly laid carpet, first clean the firmly laid carpet only and let it dry completely before you replace the rug or decorative carpet. If you also want to clean the rug or decorative carpet, place it on a moisture-resistant hard floor (tile, stone, or concrete floor) for cleaning and only place it back on the carpet when it is completely dry. If you have no moisture-resistant hard-floor available to clean the carpet, you can also use a covering foil.

No, please do not clean carpets directly on a laminate or unsealed wooden floor. If you do not have the possibility to clean the carpet on a moisture-resistant hard floor (such as stone, concrete or tile floors), you can also help yourself by using a covering foil (see painter’s supplies in a DIY store), which you place under the carpet for cleaning. Leave the foil until the carpet is dry and remove it then. Use a cloth to absorb moisture that has gathered next to the carpet on the laminate or wooden floor.
